Te Taiao Nature Digital Production Tools

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Discover the tools and processes Te Papa developed for production of Te Taiao Nature digital experiences. Tools are shared in this workshop for you to use on future large or small digital products, and product portfolios, including, software, digital content production, animation, and video production, within the GLAM sector.

Participants are encouraged to bring at least one concept or small portfolio of concepts. In the workshop, participants will apply the tools and processes discussed to the concepts they bring. Concepts can be actual work in progress, hypothetical, or ‘just an idea’.

Take part and take away a set of tools and processes, with behind-the-scenes examples of how the tools helped add value to digital experiences within the Te Taiao Nature exhibition.

Tools shared will add value to:
  • Divergent ideation
  • Convergent idea development and evaluation
  • Concept development
  • Prototyping and User testing
  • Scoping and Budget setting
  • Resource modelling
  • Standards and Guidelines
  • Procurement and Portfolio management
  • Production phases, Workflow mapping, and Sprint planning
  • Evaluation & Post opening improvements

The workshop will be led by Amos Mann, Digital Production Lead for Te Taiao Nature, and museum practitioner with over 20 years’ GLAM sector experience.

The Te Taiao Nature Digital Production Tools workshop is complimentary to the [Springload Prototyping Workshop].
